Men's Walk

* On Saturday, June 15, 2024, men from participating churches will meet in the St. Francis parking lot at Union and 13th Streets (that is St Francis Church, NOT the SF High School on 11th Street) between 11:30am and noon. We will organize there and be ready to walk in unison from the church, north on Union Street to the Open Space at the Grand Traverse Bay. 

* Signs displaying positive "slogans" like, "Dad's make a Difference" will be distributed at the beginning of the walk. 

Open Space Rally

* On June 15, 2024 (at the completion of the Men's Walk) we are sponsoring a Rally to celebrate fatherhood at the bayside open space at the corner of Union Street/Marina Dr. and Grandview Parkway.

* The rally will begin approximately 12:45pm and should last less than one hour. 

* The public is invited, all are welcome. This is a multi denominational event. 

* The presentations will include an opening prayer by Reverend Michael Goers of Trinity Lutheran Church, Introductions by Robert Barnes, an address by guest speaker Al Juarez entitled, "Joseph the Carpenter, a tale of Unexpected Fatherhood", followed by an audience invitation to fellowship.

* Participating churches will be represented by men located at tables flanking the podium who can answer questions about the opportunities for men's fellowship. We also expect that a number of the pastors will be available as well.
